In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 consumer finance apps on the Android platform in Chile demonstrated varying performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Santander Chile saw a fluctuating download trend, starting strong with approximately 30K downloads in the last week of September and peaking at around 46K in the week of October 23. However, downloads tapered off towards the end of the year, finishing at about 21K in the final week of December. The app maintained a solid user base with weekly active users increasing from 800K to over 900K throughout the quarter.

Mercado Pago: cuenta digital experienced a steady increase in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads started at approximately 19K in late September, spiking to around 34K in the week of December 11 before settling at about 16K by the end of December. Weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, growing from 822K to over 900K during the quarter.

Splitwise had a stable revenue stream, peaking at $274 in mid-October and finishing the quarter at $158. Download numbers saw a slight fluctuation, starting at 829 and peaking at 1.0K in late October before ending the year at 814. The app's weekly active users showed minor variations, starting at 4.7K in late September and ending at 4.2K in the final week of December.
